Guides are written and reviewed by our editors, drawing on established knowledge of Mediterranean species, local food culture and the Costa del Sol. Where a claim could be wrong, we either verify it or omit it.
Independence
No restaurant pays to appear in this guide. No link is sponsored unless clearly labelled, and we do not currently run sponsored content. A placement here is an editorial choice, not a commercial one.
Dating and updates
Guides carry a publication date and an updated date. The coast changes — kitchens open and close, seasons shift — so we revisit and re-date pages rather than leaving them to grow stale.
Sources and species data
Seasonal guidance is indicative rather than absolute: it reflects general Mediterranean patterns along the Costa del Sol, and availability always depends on the year, the boat and the market. We do not publish unverified prices, opening hours, awards or reviews.
